Juice & Smoothie Barista

We’re looking for an energetic, positive, and team-oriented Juice & Smoothie Barista to join our café team. In this position you'll be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, such as fresh juices, smoothies, and wellness shots, while delivering exceptional customer service in a health-focused environment. This role combines culinary skills—like precise ingredient prep and recipe execution—with front-of-house duties such as handling transactions and educating guests on nutritional benefits.

This is a paid position with opportunities to grow your skills in food preparation, retail operations, and customer experience within a vibrant café setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and serve fresh smoothies, juices, wellness shots, and specialty beverages with consistency and attention to detail

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by warmly greeting guests, answering questions, and making personalized recommendations

  • Operate the Square POS system and accurately handle cash and card transactions

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace throughout each shift

  • Follow all food safety and sanitation standards during food preparation and service

  • Restock ingredients, packaging, supplies, and equipment to support smooth daily operations

  • Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining product quality and a positive attitude

  • Support fellow team members and contribute to a collaborative, uplifting work environment

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

We are happy to train the right candidate, though the following experience and skills are a plus:

  • Experience in cafés, juice bars, smoothie shops, food service, or hospitality

  • Familiarity with beverage preparation and basic food handling techniques

  • Experience using Square POS or similar point-of-sale systems

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment

  • Basic math and cash-handling skills

  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards

  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

  • A positive, “can-do” attitude and willingness to learn
