    We’re looking for an energetic, positive, and team-oriented Dishwasher to join our café team. The dishwasher is a vital member of the kitchen team responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all dishware and the overall facility. This role is essential for ensuring that the team has a steady supply of clean equipment to keep Ruthie's running efficiently.

    This is a paid position with opportunities to grow your skills in food preparation, retail operations, and customer experience within a vibrant café setting.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, blenders, kitchen tools, and food preparation equipment efficiently and thoroughly

    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing stations, sinks, storage areas, and kitchen spaces

    • Ensure all sanitation and food safety procedures are consistently followed

    • Take out trash and recycling and keep waste areas clean and organized

    • Sweep, mop, and assist with general café and kitchen cleaning duties throughout shifts

    • Restock clean dishes, utensils, cups, and kitchen supplies for the front and back of house teams

    • Support kitchen and café staff with basic food prep and operational tasks as needed

    • Help receive, organize, and store deliveries and inventory properly

    • Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail and a positive attitude

    • Contribute to a supportive, team-oriented environment and assist wherever needed

    QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

    We are happy to train the right candidate, though the following experience and qualities are a plus:

    • Previous experience in a restaurant, café, kitchen, or food service environment preferred but not required

    • Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative

    • Ability to work quickly and stay organized in a fast-paced environment

    • Understanding of basic food safety and sanitation practices

    • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move items up to 40 lbs

  • OVERVIEW

    We’re looking for an energetic, positive, and team-oriented Shift Leader to join our café team. The juice shop shift leader is a supervisory role responsible for managing daily operations, leading a team of baristas, and ensuring a high-quality guest experience. Acting as the "manager on duty" during their scheduled shift, they bridge the gap between front-line staff and upper management.

    This is a paid position with opportunities to grow your skills in food preparation, retail operations, and customer experience, while dipping your toes into management within a vibrant café setting.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead daily café operations during scheduled shifts to ensure smooth, efficient service

    • Supervise, support, and motivate baristas and front-of-house team members throughout shifts

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for team questions, guest concerns, and operational needs while on duty

    • Prepare and serve smoothies, juices, wellness shots, bowls, and specialty beverages with consistency and attention to detail

    We’re looking for an energetic, positive, and team-oriented Weekend Manager to join our café team. The Juice Shop Weekend Manager is responsible for overseeing the store during the busiest, highest-volume days of the week. This role is critical because it requires the ability to manage high-traffic rushes, handle staffing and operational challenges independently, and maintain a vibrant, welcoming café atmosphere when it matters most.

    The Weekend Manager serves as the primary leader on duty during weekends, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strong team performance, and smooth café operations while upholding the values and culture of Ruthie’s Juice Cafe.

    This is a paid position with opportunities to grow your skills in food preparation, retail operations, customer experience, and leadership within a vibrant café setting.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Oversee all weekend café operations to ensure efficient, high-quality service during peak business hours

    • Lead, support, and motivate front-of-house and kitchen staff throughout busy shifts

    • Act as the manager on duty and primary decision-maker during weekends in the absence of upper management

    • Maintain a calm, organized, and solutions-oriented presence during high-volume rushes

    • Ensure all smoothies, juices, wellness shots, bowls, and café offerings meet Ruthie’s quality and presentation standards

    • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, drawer counts, daily reporting, and securing the café

    • Oversee the Square POS system and ensure accurate transaction processing and cash management

    • Monitor cleanliness, food safety, sanitation, and organization standards throughout the café

    • Communicate staffing, inventory, operational, or guest experience issues to ownership and management teams

    • Assist with training, coaching, and onboarding team members on customer service, food preparation, and operational standards

    QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
